Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965) is an American actress. Her most well-known part is as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded two Emmy Awards in 2010 as well as 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. Following the conclusion of the seventh season the show was canceled on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her role as a regular on Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for a Golden Globe award in 1995 for her performance in Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's singles (1992) as well as Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
