Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, who was born on on November 24, 1981 was an American political commentator. Her past roles included being a presidential candidate and hosting a television show on MSNBC. She is also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and an earlier co-host on the show The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in the month of May 2021 in order to start Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball hosts alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball credits her ongoing interest in politics and her experience as a newly-wed mother in the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan while she was in Jordan. She witnessed the impact the election had on the people in her country and was inspired to understand the international influence of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district in the year 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action committee working on behalf of Democratic causes.
