Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18 1967 is an American actress, producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just some of her movie roles. Bello was a star on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well with other starring roles including Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath and Jacqueline Sloane, Special Agent on NCIS from 2017-2021. Bello was the daughter of Kathy Bello (a teacher and school nurse) and Joe Bello (a contractor). Bello was born in Norristown on April 18, 1967. Bello was a student of the field of political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting through a variety of New York theater productions after she finished her studies. Bello and Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. Bello revealed in November 2013 that she had an same-sex relationship with Clare Munn, her former partner. The book she published was titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the Labels we Give Ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28, 2015).
